What are cookies?
Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and associated with a specific browser. They are created (or “set”) by a website’s server. They contain some anonymous textual information such as a unique identifier, which helps track sessions so you don’t have to re-login on multiple pages. Session cookies are short-term cookies that are created when you log into our website or services. They exist as long as the session exists (e.g., a current visit to our website). They are automatically deleted at the end of a session. They are necessary for services to be secure once you are logged in. Persistent cookies are longer-term cookies that remain on your computer across sessions.

What is do not track?
Do Not Track (DNT) is a proposed mechanism for browsers to allow you to control the tracking of your online activities across websites. While some groups, such as the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) are working with industries and regulators to develop the standard, it has been slow to be adopted. For this reason, LoomVue does not respond to “do not track” signals.
How do I control my cookies?
You can control your cookies using your browser’s settings. For example, you can clear (i.e., delete) your cookies or disallow them on certain sites. However, in some cases this can degrade your experience or make certain functions unavailable (e.g., things requiring you to login with a session cookie). You can learn more about cookies at https://www.aboutcookies.org and on google browser websites such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox. See documentation provided by other browser manufacturers.
